I'd wanted to post this earlier but doing the photos for Stiff Chilli gave me a stiff elbow...

Friday, 22 June - Mag and I checked out this Italian place along Jalan Besar - a unlikely place but the rent is good, so says the proprietor. The decor is basic but we found the lampshades, made from plastic food covers we use to keep out houseflies - cute.



The tomato bruschetta was yummy! Each slice was topped with a WHOLE grilled garlic! Away, you vampires!!


They also served their house bread with balsamico reduction, olive oil and super-hot cut chilli.



This is the place to go if you want simple homestyle Italian food. Although filled to the brim, we found some space for their "Voodoo" espresso and Love Chocolate ice cream - which had a surprising after-taste! Try it for yourself!!
