Saturday Dining

We had a really bizarre experience at Hong Kong Kim Gary restaurant at Vivocity - spent a long time deciding what to eat! The menu consisted of things like baked rice with cheese, pasta with cheese, party sausages, maggie noodles with assortment of toppings, and other weird food that you would probably throw together at home if you didn't know how to cook a meal from scratch! We finally settled for some noodle soup - Mag ordered szechuan vege & pork while I ordered wanton. Both came generously topped with fried onions! Might look appetizing for some but how unappetizing for us! :S

The drinks menu was more interesting. We ordered Ying-yeung (milk tea and coffee) and boiled coke with ginger. Never had warm coke before but it was a nice change.

Gag!

Thankfully our dinner was much better - at Sushi Tei.

This is a Salmon Wasabillar Roll.

Ya lah... Too lazy to do foto editing. I have too much backlog already!! Sigh...

Food wasn't fantastic and like I said, weird. Like just put together by a non-cook. I also don't like to pay that much for something I can get at a normal foodcourt that sometimes have better food even.
