Is this Singapore?

Is this really Singapore?? You might think not, but it is! Managed to fool a few friends into thinking we were in New York !! hehe ;-) Boy do they hate us now...

This is Parkview Square - office building which opened in 2002. They screen their tenants. pfffttt... !

Looks wonderful, doesn't it? Yeah.... but when you knock at the figurines around the courtyard, they're hollow and light, a bit like some people's heads... all prettily made-up but hollow inside. Sigh... We've always wondered what the building was like, always driving by looking up in awe at it. Still, the building is something to behold. Feels so un-Singapore and like Gotham City. Hmm.... I wish they would open the lobby to the public, just for photo taking. Peeping in from the floor to ceiling dark windows, I felt like the little matchbox girl looking in at the fireplace, the opulence and decadent lifestyle inside... Maybe the building is rather Singaporean afterall.... just like those hollow statues...
